A bit about me (if you're really interested)
I have been trading in stamps, mostly approvals, on and off for many years as work and other commitments, adventures and mis-adventures allow. Currently my day (or mostly night) job is in a specialised sticky-end role in the NHS. The shifts I work allow plenty of time to retreat into the world of stamps. My aim is, and always has been to offer high quality and value for money in stamps. We haven't all got a fortune to throw at the stellar rarities of philately, but does that mean what we collect shouldn't be interesting or worthwhile? The real joy of stamps is that you can derive a great deal of interest and, yes, fun, from collecting items which don't cost a fortune. However, when I re-started collecting waaayyyy back, on a bit of a budget, I was amazed at some of the horrid junk some dealers sent out...indeed when I take a look at the competition, frankly I am still amazed. So, I take time and care in sending out stamps that I know you will enjoy sorting through. None of us want that sinking feeling obtained when you open a packet of stamps and find loads of heavily cancelled letter rate South African definitives from the 1970s and pictures of cats from countries which don't exist! (No offence to SA definitive specialists or cat lovers ). Any questions please get in touch via the contact form. Cheers Jonathan |
